The first National Park on the planet . Yellowstone National Park is a wilderness wonderland in the heart of the American rockies. The park is at its prime in the fall. We spent a week exploring all it has to offer this past October.

May 2008 was our first Wild Earth Photo assignment to Africa. Namibia was our destination. Namibia’s friendly people, great Desert landscapes and World renowned Etosha National Park offer great photography . We travelled over 5400 km through out Namibia’s wide open spaces camping in the african bush, it was an amazing experience. Check out our Blog on this trip for more info.

Travels along Iceland's Famous Ring Road. Under June's midnight sun, we drove it in a clockwise pattern circumnavigating it's 1332 km, plus explored many secondary roads ! 18 days 3400 km total only scratched the surface of this amazingly photogenic country. Discovery Coast to Chilcotin Plateau !! British Columbia's Coast to Interior Plateau circuit. From Vancouver Island's northern coves to the Central Coasts fiords and inlets of the Inter coastal waters through the Coast Mountains of Tweedsmuir Park into the wilderness of the Chilcotin .

Auyuituuq National Park is situated on Baffin Island’s Cumberland Peninsula in the Canadian Arctic. It is one of the worlds premier Glacial landscapes and part of the Penny Ice Cap. Huge vertical cliff faces thousands of feet high, jagged peaks and glaciers sprawling out into arctic valleys makes it a great place to trek and photograph .

New Zealand road trip April 2014 , a whirlwind tour , 5400 km in 30 days North & South Islands ! Exhilarating the senses with every bend in the road.

This Gallery is a collection of images taken over the years that I worked as a Pilot in the Canadian Arctic. My flights took me from Nunavik to Nunavut, Greeland and the High Arctic Islands to the Beaufort sea.

The Big Island has it all. Tropical jungle, Desert cactus, Snow cap peaks, volcanic landscapes, and most importantly life on Island Time !!

The Palouse Prairie located in the south eastern Washington & north central Idaho . A unique and picturesque region of the pacific northwest. Formed by glacial silt dunes in from glacial blown outwash. The area consist of a lush prairie of rolling hills. June is one of the best times to tour this vast sea of green, it was as if you are driving through an endless golf course. Its a wonderful place to just wind through gravel back roads that crisscross the country, form hill top to sleepy hollow . Here are a few images we brought back.

In February 2008 Wild Earth Photo took an epic journey through the Florida Everglades by Canoe. We paddle through mangrove swamps, tidal lagoons and open ocean. Here are some of the photos from birds to gators.

Joshua Tree National Park where three Deserts meet. The Colorado Desert, Sonoran Desert and Mojave Desert. A collection of surreal geological landscapes, strong winds, dark cold nights, and Hot days. Add strange looking Joshua trees and Cholla cactus, all a good mix for back country adventure and great photography.

Gold can drive a man to adventure and unbearable hardship, both extremes meet on the Chilkoot Trail. Many tales of adventure and unbearable hardship can be told in the history along this trail. You have to hike it to see for yourself. Thankfully modern day adventurers on the Chilkoot Pass trail are not required to bring the 1150 lbs of goods to survive a year in the Klondike as required in 1898.

Patagonia is the southern most region of South America and includes Chile & Argentina. Its a wind swept stark landscape with the Andes Mountains curving down into a sub arctic plain. Torres Del Paine National Park is one of the premier national parks in Patagonia Chile and has a popular trekking circuit known as El Circuito Del Paine one of the best hikes in the world. Bowron Lakes Provincial Park is home to BC’s premier canoe circuit. The park is located east of Quenel BC in the North Cariboo Mountains. Pristine wilderness canoe route 120 km long.
